Job Summary
The Electrical Controls Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing control systems. This role involves collaborating closely with other engineering disciplines to ensure optimal functioning of electrical equipment and processes. The engineer will leverage their expertise to enhance system performance and improve operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement electrical control systems for various applications.
- Collaborate with project teams to integrate controls with existing systems.
- Conduct testing and troubleshooting of control systems to ensure reliability and performance.
- Prepare documentation including specifications, diagrams, and user manuals.
- Stay updated with industry trends and technologies to implement best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in electrical controls engineering.
- Strong understanding of control theories and practices.
- Familiarity with relevant software and tools for design and simulation.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
