Job Summary
The Electrical Engineer I or II position focuses on contributing to the design and engineering management within the Energy Nuclear Fleet Corporate Design Engineering (CDE) department. Based in Huntersville, North Carolina, the role entails collaborating with the electrical engineering team responsible for overseeing capital engineering changes at the McGuire Nuclear Station (MNS). The successful candidate will ensure compliance with nuclear industry-standard design processes.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Electrical team to manage and implement capital engineering change projects.
- Support adherence to nuclear industry design standards and processes.
- Act as a part of the Design Authority to maintain the integrity of engineering practices.
- Assist in analyzing and resolving complex engineering challenges related to electrical systems.
Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Knowledge of nuclear engineering principles and practices.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to achieve and maintain required special qualifications pertinent to the role.
