Job Summary
The position of Electrical Engineer I or Electrical Engineer II (Nuclear) involves working onsite in Huntersville, North Carolina, as part of the Energy Nuclear Fleet Corporate Design Engineering (CDE) department. The role is centered on serving as the Design Authority for the electrical systems at the McGuire Nuclear Station (MNS), focusing on managing significant engineering changes in accordance with industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Oversee capital engineering changes for the electrical systems at McGuire Nuclear Station.
- Ensure compliance with nuclear industry design processes and standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate design solutions.
Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience or knowledge of nuclear engineering practices is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Effective communication and project management skills.
