Job Summary
This internship involves contributing to substation engineering projects through various activities, including research, field investigations, initial design calculations, and analytical assessments. Interns will be expected to assist in developing final design documents, special requirements, cost assessments, and comprehensive project records, all while adhering to company policies and completing relevant training.
Responsibilities
- Participate in research and fieldwork related to substation engineering.
- Conduct preliminary design calculations and analyses.
- Support the creation of final design plans and special provisions.
- Prepare cost estimates and assist in project documentation.
- Engage in assigned training activities and adhere to company protocols.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old and currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate program in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Expected graduation should be no earlier than August 2027.
- Authorized to work in the United States at the internship’s start date.
- Demonstrated interest in the field of electrical engineering.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to follow instructions and guidelines efficiently.
- Basic proficiency in technical writing and office software.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Graduate enrollment and prior internship or leadership experiences on campus are considered advantages.
