Job Summary
WSP USA is embarking on a search for an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join their team in Valhalla, New York. This role is crucial for the design and analysis of various structural elements such as buildings, roadways, and mechanical structures. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with engineering standards and oversee the acquisition of necessary construction or operating permits.
Responsibilities
- Engage in the design, analysis, and documentation of structural systems for various projects.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate structural design with other engineering disciplines.
- Ensure adherence to engineering best practices, building codes, and industry standards.
- Prepare reports and presentations of engineering findings for stakeholders.
- Assist in the procurement of relevant construction or operating permits.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance as needed.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering, or a closely related field.
