Cuyahoga Falls, OH

Full-time | Direct Hire | Exceptional Benefits

A well-respected manufacturing company located in Cuyahoga Falls is seeking to recruit a proficient Electrical Maintenance Technician to join their workforce. This position is for the second shift (3 PM–11 PM) and concentrates on electrical maintenance and facilities management rather than production machinery. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in commercial electrical applications, preventive maintenance, and general maintenance tasks within a large-scale industrial setting.

Your Responsibilities Include:

  • Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on building utilities and systems (including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, etc.)
  • Perform various electrical tasks, encompassing troubleshooting and repairs of commercial building systems
  • Assist with facilities infrastructure tasks such as piping, welding, machining, and light fabrication as needed
  • Occasional involvement with PLC-driven systems; familiarity with 480V systems is preferred
  • Engage in rotating weekend shifts (every other weekend) along with occasional overtime, all paid at time and a half

Schedule & Compensation:

  • 2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM
  • $31.25–$32.75/hour plus a $0.65/hour shift differential
  • Overtime opportunities available, with weekend coverage rotating among team members

Qualifications We Seek:

  • 5–10+ years of practical experience in commercial/industrial maintenance
  • Strong familiarity with commercial electrical systems, with an emphasis on 480V
  • Knowledge of machining, welding, piping, and general fabrication processes
  • Experience with PLC programming or troubleshooting is a plus
  • Ability to thrive in a large industrial environment rather than residential repair settings

What Makes This Opportunity Great:

  • Comprehensive benefits package with minimal out-of-pocket expenses
  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage, with the company covering the bulk of costs
  • Company-paid life insurance (2x salary) and long-term disability coverage
  • 401(k) match: Dollar-for-dollar up to 5% of your contributions
  • Starting with 2 weeks of vacation from your first day, with increases every 5 years and the option to carry over up to one week
  • Unused vacation is compensated, so you never lose earned time
  • 10–14 paid holidays annually, among the most competitive in the industry
  • Separate sick leave accrual (1 hour for every 30 hours worked)
  • Retirement bonus of 1 week’s pay for every year of service after 10+ years upon retirement
