Job Summary
The Packaging Operator plays a crucial role in the packaging process of products, ensuring that they are efficiently and properly packaged for distribution. This position involves working closely with production teams to meet quality standards and deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Operate packaging machinery and equipment to package products according to specifications.
- Monitor quality of packaged goods to ensure they meet company standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the packaging area.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets and resolve any issues that arise during the packaging process.
- Perform routine maintenance on packaging equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or packaging environment is an advantage.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly.
- Strong attention to detail and quality assurance skills.
- Ability to handle physical tasks and stand for extended periods.
