Emergency Department (ED) RN
Willoughby, OH
Evening/Mid Shift: 11:00AM-11:30PM (3×12)
Weekly Pay: $1818 ($50.50/hr) ED RN Job Description The ED RN position requires a highly skilled RN with a minimum of 2 years of recent ED experience, preferably with a Level I Trauma Facility. The ED RN will provide fast-paced, high-quality care to patients experiencing acute illness, injury, or trauma. ED RN Key Responsibilities:
- Perform rapid patient assessments and triage based on severity of condition
- Monitor vital signs and recognize life-threatening changes
- Administer medications, IV fluids, blood products, and emergency treatments
- Assist with trauma care, resuscitation, and emergency procedures
- Prepare patients for diagnostic tests and surgeries
- Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and follow-up care
- Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes
- Maintain a calm, professional demeanor in high-stress situations
- Follow infection control, safety, and hospital protocols
ED RN Requirements:
- Active Ohio RN license or Compact RN license
- 2+ years of recent ED RN experience
- Level I Trauma experience (preferred)
- Holds active AHA BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications
