The Emergency Department Technician provides direct patient care and clerical support to nursing and medical staff. Responsibilities include assisting with procedures, managing equipment, collecting specimens, and documenting patient observations. Candidates must have a high school diploma and at least six months of patient care experience or completion of a military medic program. A professional certification such as EMT, paramedic, MA, or CNA, along with BLS certification, is required.
