Job Summary
The Platform Engineering Manager is responsible for guiding and nurturing a top-tier platform engineering team, focusing on the management of technical infrastructure, ensuring system reliability, and promoting scalability. This role includes defining the technical vision and establishing the roadmap while participating actively in architectural decisions, coding activities, and collaborating across various functions.
Responsibilities
- Lead the platform engineering team towards high performance and efficiency.
- Oversee the management of technical infrastructure to ensure reliability and scalability.
- Set the strategic technical vision and roadmaps for the team.
- Engage in hands-on architecture, coding, and development tasks.
- Foster collaboration across different cross-functional teams.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in software engineering.
- At least 2 years of direct experience in engineering management.
- Strong proficiency with modern full-stack technologies, including TypeScript and Node.js.
- Experience with cloud services, particularly AWS.
