Job Summary
The University of Vermont Medical Center is looking for a qualified Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to become part of our Otolaryngology (ENT) team. This role is essential for providing comprehensive care to patients within the ENT practice, contributing to high standards of medical service.
Responsibilities
- Deliver patient care within the Otolaryngology department.
- Collaborate effectively with medical staff to ensure the quality of care.
- Conduct evaluations and treatment for patients with ENT-related conditions.
- Participate in patient education and health promotion activities.
- Document patient interactions and treatment plans accurately in electronic health records.
Qualifications
- Current licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) from the Vermont State Board of Nursing.
- Experience in a clinical setting, preferably within otolaryngology or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a healthcare team.
