Job Summary
The role involves overseeing and directing the housekeeping, laundry, and floor care teams to guarantee adherence to the organization’s policies as well as safety regulations. This position also entails serving as a communication link between facility management and staff, while keeping accurate records of supplies, staff, and equipment.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the housekeeping, laundry, and floor care departments.
- Ensure compliance with all facility policies and safety standards.
- Act as a connector between building administrators and the housekeeping staff.
- Maintain accurate records regarding supplies, personnel, and equipment used in the facility.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent educational background is required.
- At least two years of experience in healthcare housekeeping and supervisory roles.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting items up to 50 pounds.
- Capability to stand for extended periods during work duties.
