Job Summary
The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing the housekeeping, laundry, and floor care teams to ensure adherence to facility regulations as well as federal and state guidelines. This role acts as a crucial link between the building’s administration and the housekeeping staff while maintaining documentation related to supplies, personnel, and equipment.
Responsibilities
- Supervise housekeeping, laundry, and floor care staff to ensure compliance with established policies.
- Serve as the point of communication between staff and building administration.
- Maintain accurate records of supplies, personnel, and equipment for operational efficiency.
- Ensure that all tasks are completed to a high standard, in alignment with health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of two years of experience in healthcare housekeeping and supervisory roles.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Candidate must reside within the designated service area.
