Job Summary
This role involves assisting in the supervision of housekeeping, laundry, and floor care teams while gaining insights into the management of environmental services within a long-term care setting. The position focuses on ensuring compliance, facilitating staff training and scheduling, maintaining operational records, and enhancing communication among residents, administrators, and HCSG personnel.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the supervision of housekeeping and laundry operations.
- Support scheduling and training of staff members.
- Help maintain accurate operational records.
- Facilitate effective communication between residents, administration, and HCSG teams.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or its equivalent is preferred.
- Prior experience in food service or hospitality is advantageous.
- Proficient organizational and communication skills are essential.
- Ability to operate computer systems and generate reports.
- Physical capability to perform repetitive tasks, including lifting or pushing/pulling items up to 50 pounds.
- Must be comfortable working with food and cleaning products.
- Residency in the service area is required.
