Job description
The Senior Environmental Service Technician plays a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and safety in patient rooms and other related areas through thorough cleaning and disinfecting practices. This position also oversees the management of medical waste and floor upkeep. Further responsibilities include training team members, organizing work tasks, and conducting quality assurance assessments. Applicants should possess a high school diploma or equivalent along with a minimum of 6 months of experience in customer service or environmental services. Leadership experience is essential, and having a certification in healthcare environmental services is advantageous.
