Job Summary
The Equipment Operator/Groundman is responsible for performing itinerant field work, primarily focused on the operation of various equipment and supporting ground activities. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and efficiency in diverse environments, ensuring that operations run smoothly and effectively.
Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery and equipment in the field while ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Support maintenance activities and assist other field personnel as needed.
- Maintain equipment and perform routine inspections to identify potential issues.
- Assist with the setup and dismantling of equipment in various locations.
- Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently and on schedule.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an equipment operator or in a similar ground support role.
- Strong knowledge of safety practices and regulations related to equipment operation.
- Ability to work effectively in different weather conditions and terrains.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Valid operator’s license and any necessary certifications in equipment operation.
