Job Summary
The primary role involves maintaining cleanliness and providing supply support in patient care areas as well as various facility spaces, including isolation rooms, restrooms, offices, and public locations. The position requires adherence to departmental procedures and safety protocols to ensure a hygienic environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning and sanitation tasks in patient care areas and other designated facility spaces.
- Ensure proper waste disposal, including trash, regulated medical waste, and soiled linens.
- Utilize cleaning equipment effectively for various tasks.
- Deliver a high standard of customer service with a professional demeanor.
- Follow safety standards and procedures diligently.
- Respond appropriately to urgent or emergency situations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Basic computer literacy is preferred.
- Previous experience in hospital or hospitality housekeeping settings is advantageous.
- Familiarity with the operation of cleaning equipment is desired.
- Ability to read, comprehend, and execute instructions provided in English.
