Job Summary
The position of Experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Emergency Medicine is offered on a per diem basis in Orwigsburg, Pennsylvania. This role involves providing comprehensive medical evaluations and treatments for patients experiencing emergencies. The ideal candidate will educate and collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to ensure the highest quality of care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough medical evaluations and provide treatment to patients in emergency situations.
- Educate and support a team of healthcare professionals including physicians and nurses.
- Order and assess laboratory tests and other diagnostic procedures.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emergency medical protocols and best practices in the field.
Qualifications
- Must be a licensed and board-certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- Demonstrated experience in emergency medicine is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for patient and team interactions.
