Job Summary
The role of the Experienced Substation Structural Engineer is integral to our Power Delivery Substation Civil/Structural Group based in Syracuse, New York. This position focuses on delivering effective structural solutions tailored for electrical substation projects while ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop structural designs and analyses for electrical substations.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations throughout project lifecycles.
- Oversee design and construction practices and manage required permits.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to integrate solutions effectively.
- Provide technical support and guidance for substation projects.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in structural engineering, particularly in the context of electrical substations.
- Strong understanding of design principles, construction processes, and applicable regulations.
- Ability to manage multiple projects effectively while maintaining quality and compliance.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with various stakeholders.
