The Registered Nurse is responsible for overseeing clinical operations for medical/surgical patients, which encompasses the planning, execution, and assessment of patient care. This role includes supervising LPNs and nursing assistants while complying with hospital regulations and the State Nurse Practice Act. Applicants should have graduated from an accredited Nursing Program and possess a valid Louisiana RN license. Furthermore, current certifications in BLS and ACLS are mandatory, and familiarity with basic EKG skills is advantageous.
