Job Summary
The fabricator will be responsible for executing diverse projects that involve the production of components according to precise tolerances using technical engineering drawings and an array of shop equipment. The role emphasizes strict adherence to safety protocols, the prospect of identifying enhancements in processes, and efficient collaboration within a team framework.
Responsibilities
- Produce parts that meet specified tolerances utilizing engineering drawings.
- Operate various shop machinery safely and effectively.
- Maintain high safety standards in the workplace.
- Identify and suggest improvements to existing processes.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve project goals.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of practical experience in a shop environment.
- Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding techniques.
- Experience in mechanical assembly.
- Completion of an automotive technical or trade school program is mandatory.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings accurately.
- Familiarity with Solidworks software is required.
