Job Summary
The Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) position is designed for individuals specializing in providing comprehensive health care for patients within the inpatient setting. This role offers flexible 1099 coverage, allowing for adaptability in scheduling to meet the varying needs of the healthcare environment. The FNP will play a vital role in assessing, diagnosing, and managing patient care while collaborating with the healthcare team to deliver optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough physical examinations and health assessments.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests as required.
- Develop comprehensive care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and preventive strategies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
Qualifications
- Active nursing license with certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
- Significant clinical experience in an inpatient setting is preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
