Job Summary
The Family Nurse Practitioner is responsible for delivering thorough primary healthcare services to patients spanning all age groups. This role encompasses the management of both acute and chronic health conditions, along with conducting wellness examinations and preventive screenings.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care to patients across various age demographics.
- Manage and treat acute and chronic health conditions effectively.
- Conduct wellness visits aimed at promoting health and preventing illness.
- Administer preventive screenings to ensure early detection of health issues.
- Coordinate patient care and collaborate with a wide range of healthcare professionals.
- Maintain detailed and accurate electronic health records for all patient interactions.
Qualifications
- Must possess board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
- Require a minimum of two years of recent clinical experience in a relevant healthcare setting.
- Hold a current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license.
- Have an active DEA registration to prescribe medications.
- Must maintain current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
