Job description

Job Summary

The Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) plays a crucial role in delivering comprehensive healthcare to individuals and families across various settings. This role emphasizes preventative care, health promotion, and disease management while providing high-quality care and improving patients’ overall health outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough health assessments and develop patient care plans.
  • Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results to guide patient management.
  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses in patients of all ages.
  • Educate patients and their families about health management and preventive care.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
  • Document patient progress and treatment outcomes in electronic medical records.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Nursing with a specialization as a Nurse Practitioner.
  • Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of practice.
  • Certification from an accredited NP certification board.
  • Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
  • Experience in a primary care or family practice setting is preferred.
