Job Summary
The Field Service Technician I position based in Portland, Oregon, is an essential role focused on ensuring water quality and supporting various sectors including municipal, chemical manufacturing, and food and beverage industries. The technician will be engaged in fulfilling the demands of our clients while providing on-site support and maintaining equipment efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Conduct on-site service and maintenance to ensure optimal functionality of water quality systems.
- Interact with clients to address their needs and deliver high-quality service.
- Manage and troubleshoot equipment in various industries including municipal and food and beverage sectors.
- Utilize company-provided transportation for service calls including maintenance and fuel support.
Qualifications
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
- Prior experience in a technical service role, preferably in water quality or related fields.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively assist clients and collaborate with team members.
- Flexibility to work in different environments, adapting to clients’ specific requirements.
