Job Summary
The CDL Truck Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods to various locations. This position involves driving a commercial vehicle, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations, and maintaining the proper handling of freight.
Responsibilities
- Operate and drive a commercial vehicle to deliver products to designated locations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
- Load and unload cargo as necessary, ensuring proper securing of freight.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage.
Qualifications
- Possession of a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
- Demonstrated experience driving large vehicles, preferably in a commercial capacity.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in transportation.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Good communication skills for interaction with customers and team members.
