Job Summary
The Financial Controller or Finance Lead will oversee the accounting and financial reporting functions at the mine site, playing a critical role in the intersection of Finance, Procurement, and IT. This position is essential for ensuring accurate financial oversight and reporting, in addition to managing compliance with relevant regulations.
Responsibilities
- Direct the accounting and financial reporting processes at the mine site.
- Manage the end-of-month close procedures.
- Support both internal and external audit activities.
- Facilitate the implementation of financial strategies and operations.
- Provide expertise regarding tax matters and transfer pricing issues.
Qualifications
- Strong background in finance and accounting principles.
- Experience with financial reporting and compliance regulations.
- Ability to manage audits effectively.
- Knowledge of tax and transfer pricing concepts.
- Proficiency in financial software and reporting tools.
