Job Summary
The Finishing Lead plays a crucial role in supporting the Production Supervisor by overseeing daily operations within the Finishing Department. This includes training technicians and ensuring that all activities conform to established quality and safety standards. The Finishing Lead is tasked with managing production processes, monitoring inventory levels, and conducting final inspections of composite assemblies to guarantee adherence to company specifications.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Production Supervisor in daily operational management.
- Train and guide technicians to enhance their skills and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with quality and safety regulations in the Finishing Department.
- Oversee the production processes for effective workflow.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and manage stock levels.
- Conduct thorough final inspections of composite assemblies for quality assurance.
Qualifications
- A minimum of five years of experience in composite manufacturing is required.
- A high school diploma or GED is essential.
- Ability to pass respirator fit testing.
- Proficient in interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
- Capability to work efficiently under pressure in a manufacturing setting.
