Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Fleet Mechanical Engineer for our Heavy Civil Underground operations located in Bend, Oregon. This position is critical for ensuring the efficiency and safety of our fleet used in civil and underground construction projects.
Responsibilities
- Assess and analyze structural loads and stresses within fleet equipment.
- Investigate and resolve issues related to hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Contribute to the maintenance and optimization of the fleet to ensure enhanced productivity and reliability.
- Collaborate closely with project teams to support operational needs and project goals.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in fleet engineering, particularly in heavy civil or underground construction.
- Strong understanding of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Ability to evaluate complex engineering challenges and propose effective solutions.
- Excellent communication skills and capacity to work in a team-oriented environment.
