Job Summary
The primary objective of the Fleet Mechanical Engineer in Heavy Civil Underground construction is to provide expert engineering support for the fleet, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards. Based in Vancouver, Washington, this role focuses on evaluating and enhancing the mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems of underground construction equipment.
Responsibilities
- Assess structural loads and stresses on various equipment.
- Conduct thorough evaluations of hydraulic and electrical systems within the fleet.
- Collaborate with teams to ensure equipment meets safety and operational standards.
- Provide technical support for equipment maintenance and repairs.
- Implement solutions to improve fleet efficiency and reliability.
Qualifications
- Strong background in mechanical engineering, particularly in heavy civil construction.
- Experience with hydraulic and electrical systems in heavy machinery.
