Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Fleet Mechanical Engineer specializing in Heavy Civil Underground operations in Vancouver, Washington. This role requires a hands-on professional to lead and oversee the maintenance and performance of our fleet, ensuring the highest standards of safety and efficiency in underground construction environments. The position will be based onsite.
Responsibilities
- Conduct evaluations of structural loads and stresses affecting the fleet.
- Analyze and improve hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems within the fleet operations.
- Lead inspections and assessments to ensure equipment reliability and compliance with safety regulations.
- Collaborate with teams to develop effective maintenance plans and operational strategies.
- Provide technical support and solutions for complex engineering challenges encountered in the field.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in mechanical engineering, specifically in fleet management or heavy civil construction.
- Strong understanding of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
