Job description
The role of the Healthcare Security Officer involves safeguarding staff, patients, and property through regular patrols of the facility while keeping an eye out for any security threats or potential dangers. The officer will be required to react promptly to emergencies, manage confrontations with a focus on de-escalation, and ensure the accuracy of logs and reports related to investigations. Applicants need to be a minimum of 18 years old and possess a high school diploma or GED. A valid driver’s license is a must, along with an active guard card issued by the state and the capability to lift up to 50 pounds.
