Job Summary
The Flexo Press Operator is tasked with managing the operation of flexographic printing presses, ensuring high-quality production of printed materials. This role requires a keen attention to detail and proficiency in the setup, adjustment, and operation of the equipment to meet established production standards.
Responsibilities
- Set up press stations and maintain the equipment to ensure optimal operation.
- Conduct regular inspections of printed materials for quality assurance.
- Adjust colors, ink flow, and pressure to ensure print design specifications are met.
- Monitor the printing process and make adjustments as required to rectify production issues.
- Maintain accurate records of production and material usage.
- Collaborate with staff to promote a safe and efficient working environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in printing processes preferred.
- Previous experience as a press operator, particularly in flexographic printing.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret job specifications and work orders.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
