Job Summary
The Floor Technician plays a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of floors in both resident rooms and communal areas. This position involves adeptly handling and operating cleaning equipment while upholding the highest safety standards. Additionally, the Floor Technician is tasked with the meticulous documentation of cleaning activities and compliance with infection control guidelines to foster a hygienic atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean, buff, and refinish floors in residential and communal spaces.
- Operate cleaning machinery in a safe manner.
- Keep precise records of cleaning activities.
- Follow infection control procedures to maintain sanitation standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, although not mandatory.
- Must possess the physical capability to lift weights up to 50 pounds.
- Able to perform repetitive tasks and remain on foot for extended durations.
