Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated Forklift Field Service Technician to join our team in Brookings, Oregon. This role involves providing on-site service and maintenance for forklifts and material handling equipment within the Springfield area. The technician will play a crucial role in ensuring our equipment is functioning optimally to meet client needs.
Responsibilities
- Conduct service and maintenance on forklifts and material handling systems at customer locations.
- Carry out preventative maintenance tasks to enhance the longevity and performance of equipment.
- Execute safety inspections and address any safety-related issues promptly.
- Travel to customer sites as required to provide on-site support.
- Manage and maintain a service truck effectively to ensure all necessary tools and parts are available.
- Document all service activities and maintenance performed accurately.
Qualifications
- Experience as a field technician or mechanic, preferably with forklifts or material handling equipment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a field-based role.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
