Job Summary
The Material Handler plays a key role in the efficient operation of the warehouse by utilizing a forklift to handle, transport, and organize materials across various areas including production. This position involves diligent management of inventory and responsibilities associated with shipping and receiving, all while adhering to safety regulations and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Responsibilities
- Operate a forklift to transport and stage materials within the warehouse and production zones.
- Manage and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Perform shipping and receiving duties, ensuring all protocols are met.
- Uphold safety standards and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Qualifications
- Must have the ability to perform physical tasks associated with warehouse operations.
- Strong attention to detail is essential for managing materials effectively.
- Preferred: At least 2 years of experience in warehouse, material handling, or manufacturing settings.
