Job description
The Freight & Transportation Manager will be responsible for directing domestic transportation activities across five distribution centers, with a focus on enhancing service quality and minimizing expenses. This position entails managing relationships with carriers, negotiating contracts, and leveraging data analysis to streamline the freight network. Applicants should possess at least 5 years of leadership experience in the transportation or logistics field and have a solid understanding of different freight modes. Expertise in Transportation Management Systems (TMS), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, and advanced Microsoft Excel is essential, as well as a track record of successful contract negotiations.
