Job Summary
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will engage in direct nursing care while administering medications and executing treatments for residents in diverse environments such as skilled nursing facilities and assisted living. This position also entails supervising designated areas, tracking health changes, and managing medical emergencies effectively.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and perform nursing treatments for residents.
- Provide hands-on nursing care across various settings, including skilled nursing and assisted living.
- Supervise assigned areas to ensure quality care.
- Document changes in residents’ health status accurately.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide necessary care.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid LPN license.
- Hold certifications in Basic Life Support and AED.
- Experience in long-term, geriatric, or assisted living care is preferred.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills and leadership abilities.
