The Deli Clerk plays a vital role in delivering outstanding customer service while preparing and packaging deli items. This position also involves keeping service areas tidy and organized. Ensuring that all displays and activities adhere to food safety regulations and the standards set by the company is essential. Ideal candidates should have experience in a deli or food preparation setting and demonstrate a commitment to the cooperative’s mission. The job requires the ability to lift weights of up to 50 lbs and to stand for long durations, as well as competency in operating commercial deli equipment.
