Job description
**Job Title: Heavy Equipment Operator**
As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for maneuvering large construction machinery like excavators and skid steers to execute trenching, install piping, and prepare sites for gas distribution initiatives. It is essential to perform all tasks with a focus on safety, especially when working near underground utilities, while also meeting productivity and quality benchmarks. Ideal candidates will possess a minimum of 2 years experience in operating heavy equipment, ideally in the fields of gas distribution or underground utility construction. A current driver’s license is required, along with the ability to successfully pass drug screenings and background investigations.
