Join a top-tier manufacturer renowned for its precision components and mechanical systems. As we enhance our strategic growth initiatives, we are expanding our gear manufacturing operations to better serve our existing clients and attract new business opportunities. We are in search of an accomplished Gear Manufacturing Engineer to take a pivotal role in developing and optimizing our gear production processes from inception.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead enhancements in gear manufacturing processes to maximize quality, cost-effectiveness, and productivity.
  • Take charge of refining manufacturing methods aimed at improving quality, minimizing expenses, and increasing productivity.
  • Develop and sustain CNC programs, process documentation, and operational standards to ensure consistent production outcomes.
  • Design tooling, fixtures, and inspection procedures that facilitate precision and consistency in manufacturing.
  • Act as a vital link between engineering and production teams to troubleshoot issues and maintain seamless operations.
  • Promote continuous improvement efforts with an emphasis on lean methodologies and cost-saving strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards such as ISO-9000 and TS-16949, aiding in audit preparedness and adherence to best practices.
  • Deliver training and support to manufacturing floor staff, fostering a high-performing team environment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a closely related discipline is preferred.
  • 5–10 years of direct experience in manufacturing or process engineering.
  • Proven expertise in gear hobbing and gear shaping techniques is a MUST.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and planning abilities.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and understand Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Experience in CNC programming and developing inspection plans.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
