The Gift Officer is responsible for overseeing a portfolio of major gift prospects with the goal of securing donations of $100,000 or more for the National Museum of Natural History. This role involves working closely with museum leadership and staff to create engagement strategies, request donations, and nurture relationships with donors. Applicants should possess five to seven years of increasingly responsible experience in frontline fundraising and demonstrate a successful history of securing major gifts. Expertise in CRM systems, alongside strong communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills, is essential.
