**Mortgage Loan Originator**
The Mortgage Loan Originator plays a crucial role in the mortgage lending process by generating new mortgage loans, processing applications, and performing initial assessments of underwriting. This position requires proactive efforts in seeking out loan sales and overseeing the documentation workflow to facilitate prompt closings. Applicants are required to possess a high school diploma or its equivalent and should have a minimum of three years of experience in the mortgage industry, sales, or real estate. Additionally, registration with the National Mortgage Licensing Service (NMLS) is mandated in accordance with the S.A.F.E. Act.
