Job Summary
The Global Supply Manager is responsible for overseeing the comprehensive sourcing and supply chain strategy related to essential commodities. This role serves as an intermediary between the Engineering, New Product Introduction (NPI), and Production teams to ensure seamless collaboration and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Identify and onboard new suppliers to enhance the supply chain.
- Lead negotiations for contracts to secure favorable terms and conditions.
- Manage and analyze costs to maintain budget compliance and profitability.
- Mitigate risks associated with supply chain disruptions and inefficiencies.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in strategic sourcing or supply chain management, ideally within hardware or manufacturing startups.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Strong technical knowledge of manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), and Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems.
