Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated caregiver to provide personal assistance and support to individuals in need within the Hamilton area. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others and will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for those they care for.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including meal preparation, grooming, and bathing.
- Provide companionship and support to enhance emotional well-being.
- Help with medication management and reminders as needed.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients.
- Communicate effectively with clients and their families regarding care plans and progress.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in caregiving or in a similar role is preferred.
- Must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle physical demands of caregiving, including lifting and transferring clients.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is advantageous.
- Background checks may be required.
