Job Summary
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plays a crucial role in delivering nursing care within home environments, working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. This position emphasizes the development of therapeutic relationships with patients, health education, and maintaining accurate records in electronic health systems.
Responsibilities
- Engage in the planning, execution, and assessment of nursing care provided to patients in their homes.
- Foster supportive and healing relationships with patients to promote their well-being.
- Deliver educational resources to patients to enhance their understanding of health management.
- Ensure comprehensive documentation of patient care in electronic health records.
Qualifications
- Completion of a state-recognized Licensed Practical Nursing program.
- Possession of a valid LPN license.
- Physical endurance to walk, stand, and lift patients as necessary.
- Basic competency in computer skills for documentation purposes.
- Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) are required.
