Job Summary
The Head of Revenue Cycle Management will oversee and enhance all facets of the revenue cycle processes to ensure optimal financial performance of the organization. This position requires strategic leadership and operational oversight to drive efficiencies and maximize revenue collection.
Responsibilities
- Lead the revenue cycle team in implementing best practices for billing, collections, and revenue management.
- Monitor performance metrics and KPIs to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
- Develop and manage relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment on revenue goals.
- Oversee compliance with policies and regulations related to revenue cycle management.
- Analyze trends and variances in revenue cycles to inform strategic decision-making.
- Provide training and development for staff to ensure high performance and compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Healthcare Administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in revenue cycle management, with leadership experience.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare reimbursement methodologies, billing, collections, and compliance issues.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to leverage data for strategic decision making and process improvements.
