Job Summary
The Healthcare Coordinator is responsible for guiding the resident care team to deliver care centered on the needs of individuals. This position entails the management of clinical initiatives, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards, and fostering professional growth among staff members. The role also includes evaluating residents’ needs, supervising medication administration, and offering around-the-clock on-call support during community emergencies.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the resident care team to provide people-centered care.
- Oversee and implement clinical programs while ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Assess the needs of residents to tailor support and care effectively.
- Supervise medication management processes to guarantee safety and adherence.
- Provide 24/7 on-call support for community emergencies.
- Develop staff through training and mentorship opportunities.
Qualifications
- Valid and current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
- Current CPR certification.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in healthcare management, particularly in senior living environments.
- At least 2 years of experience working with residents who have dementia.
