Job description
**Histotechnologist Manager**
The Histotechnologist Manager is responsible for managing laboratory operations on a daily basis, which includes overseeing workflows, staff scheduling, and implementing quality assurance measures to enhance efficiency. This role involves providing guidance, training, and mentorship to the laboratory team while ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements. To qualify, candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline and hold ASCP Histotechnician (HT) and Immunohistochemistry (QIHC) certifications. A minimum of 6 years’ experience in a histology laboratory is necessary, with at least 3 years in a supervisory capacity.
