Job Summary
The Home Care Aide plays a vital role in delivering physical support for daily living activities and executing standard household chores for elderly or disabled individuals in their residences. This position requires adherence to a prescribed Plan of Care, as well as monitoring the health and well-being of clients, along with promptly communicating any changes in their condition to a supervisor.
Responsibilities
- Provide physical assistance with daily living tasks for clients.
- Conduct routine household tasks to maintain a safe and clean environment.
- Follow a written Plan of Care consistently to meet client’s needs.
- Monitor and document client health status and report any changes.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding client care.
Qualifications
- Minimum age of 18 years with legal authorization to work in the U.S.
- High school diploma or equivalent GED is required.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment background check.
- Must finish the company’s pre-service training program satisfactorily.
